    • Welcome to the Eagles' Nest!

      Dear Families,

Welcome to St. Anthony’s Eagles’ Nest Catholic Child Care Center! It is a blessing and a joy to welcome you and your child into our loving community. As the director of our center, I want you to know that your family is not just enrolling in a child care program—you are becoming part of a faith-filled family rooted in the love of Christ.

At St. Anthony’s Eagles’ Nest, we are committed to nurturing each child’s heart, mind, and spirit. Guided by the teachings of the Catholic Church and inspired by the example of St. Anthony of Padua, we strive to create a safe, joyful, and enriching environment where every child is seen, valued, and loved. Through prayer, play, learning, and community, we help little ones grow in faith and character each day.

Our team of dedicated and compassionate educators considers it an honor to walk alongside your child during these foundational years. We believe that faith and education go hand-in-hand and that the seeds planted in these early years will flourish in God’s perfect time.

Thank you for choosing us to be part of your child’s journey. May this year be filled with growth, laughter, discovery, and many blessings.

      Joyfully in Christ,

      Ms. Serena Garcia
      St. Anthony Eagles’ Nest Director

      Flexible Feeding Schedules

At St. Anthony's, we understand that each individual infant is different and will each require a different set of needs. Whether your infant is breastfeeding, bottle-fed formula or bottle-fed breast milk, we will ensure to keep your infant healthy and stick to their individualized feeding schedule.
Our staff is trained to properly label each infant's items and label either breast milk or formula. Each of our classrooms is equipped with a fridge, microwave and bottle warmer to assist in their feeding schedule. Parents are always welcome to stop in and feed their infant if needed.

      Safe Sleep Policy

At St. Anthony's we prioritize safe sleeping habits and environments at all times. While your infant is in our care they will be learning, playing and developing new skills which can be tiring. We will follow your growing infants sleeping schedule and will be as flexible as possible with their needed resting times.

Your infant will be assigned their own crib in which we follow a strict sleep safety protocol. Our cribs are always kept clear of any items such as pillows and toys and we use tight-fitted sheets for our firm mattresses in each of our cribs. Each crib in our center has 2 Clearview panels to allow our staff for easy monitoring and each crib is a certified evacuation crib, in the event that there might be an emergency. Each infant will be assigned to their own crib in which will have their name, picture and a copy of our safe sleep policy.

      Our Curriculum

Our Toddler and Two-Year-Old Classrooms implement the Abeka curriculum for daily learning activities and lesson planning. We are committed to working closely with each student to facilitate their understanding of this valuable material. Abeka serves as an excellent resource as our students embark on their educational journey.

      Arts and Crafts

The workbook is designed to provide preschool-aged children with enjoyable opportunities to engage in artistic activities while developing their motor skills. The diverse range of projects introduces fundamental art and craft concepts, aligning with academic content, biblical teachings, seasonal themes, and holidays. Additionally, six projects are inspired by popular children's songs: "Hey Diddle Diddle," "Little White Duck," "When Your Cup Runneth Over," "Oh, Be Careful," "The Birds upon the Treetops," and "Get in the Ark." We utilize corresponding song tracks to provide lyrics and music for these songs.

      Learning Numbers

The workbook is designed for preschool-aged children and contains 68 worksheets aimed at enhancing listening skills, following directions, and practicing hand-eye coordination while learning number concepts from 1 to 10. Additionally, children will have the opportunity to engage with large, simple illustrations on each page through coloring activities.

                            Skills Concepts

      • Counting to 10 - Numbers 1 -10

      • Hand-eye coordination - Shapes

      • Coloring - Pairs

      • Thinking and reasoning  - Opposites

      • Listening Skills

      Preschool Bible Coloring Activities

The workbook is intended for use following the instruction of Bible stories. Bible time serves as a crucial component of the school day, providing essential reinforcement of lessons related to character development and Catholic values. The workbook aims to reinforce these biblical truths later in the day. Students will complete one page each week during designated skills development or free time. The projects are structured to require minimal teacher assistance, promoting student independence.

      School Safety & Emergency Preparedness

At St. Anthony’s Eagles’ Nest Catholic Child Care Center, the safety and well-being of our students and staff is our top priority. We are committed to maintaining a secure, prepared, and responsive environment through routine safety procedures and staff training.

To ensure that our children know what to do in the event of an emergency, we conduct the following drills throughout the year:

      • Monthly Fire Drills: Practiced once a month to prepare students and staff for a safe and orderly evacuation.

      • Quarterly Lockdown Drills: Designed to help staff and students respond quickly and calmly in the event of an intruder or other threat.

      • Quarterly Weather Drills: Prepare our center for severe weather situations such as tornado warnings or hurricanes.

These drills are unannounced and held at random times to best simulate real-life conditions. Teachers are trained to guide children through each drill with patience and reassurance, helping them feel confident and secure.

We appreciate the trust you place in us each day, and we thank you for partnering with us in creating a safe and nurturing learning environment.
