Here you will find all the resources that your family might need to help you make a confident decision to join St. Anthony's Catholic School. We are aware that in these times, our faith can truly help us navigate through the uncertainty. Health and Safety Policies

Child Care Safety, Health and Security

At St. Anthony's our number one priority is to offer our students a safe and healthy environment in which they can thrive in. Our families put their trust in us to care for their infants each day. St. Anthony's takes this very seriously by enforcing campus security, hiring trustworthy staff members, and keeping a clean environment in each of our classrooms.
Daily Health Checks

To start off each day our staff does a daily health check as children arrive at our center. This quick assessment lets our staff know how your child is feeling for the day and understand their physical health.

Sick Policies

Our center's sick policies help aid our entire center and community. If you suspect your child might be sick or feeling under the weather, please keep them home until they are back to their normal state. If your child gets sick while in our care, we will notify families immediately and separate them in a safe area until their families can pick them up. Campus Security Measures

While your child is our care we take every precautionary measure possible to protect them while also giving them the freedom to explore new things in our stimulating environment. Each of our classrooms are child-proof and any items in arms reach are suitable and safe for your infant to explore with. Our classrooms doors remain locked during our hours of operation. Only authorized staff and enrolled families are allowed on our campus grounds. Only pre-approved individuals with photo identification that have been notified by our center's office may pick-up your child.

Staff

At St. Anthony's we strive to hire staff members that will make long lasting and strong connections with our students and families. Your child's teachers and our centers staff members will bond with your child.

It is also important to St. Anthony that each of our staff members are properly trained in child development, early-childhood educations and certified in pediatric first aid and CPR. Each and every staff member that will come in to contact with your child has also passed a criminal background check and a catholic diocese background check.

Safe Sleep Policy

At St. Anthony's we prioritize safe sleeping habits and environments at all times. While your infant is in our care they will be learning, playing and developing new skills which can be tiring. We will follow your growing infants sleeping schedule and will be as flexible as possible with their needed resting times.

Your infant will be assigned their own crib in which we follow a strict sleep safety protocol. Our cribs are always kept clear of any items such as pillows and toys and we use tight-fitted sheets for our firm mattresses in each of our cribs. Each crib in our center has 2 Clearview panels to allow our staff for easy monitoring and each crib is a certified evacuation crib, in the event that there might be an emergency. Each infant will be assigned to their own crib in which will have their name, picture and a copy of our safe sleeping policy.

Clean Classroom and Campus

Our teachers and staff prioritize routine cleaning protocols throughout their daily schedule to ensure our center is kept germ free. On a routine basis teachers and staff sanitize everything from toys, changing tables, carpets, major touch points etc.

During meals and snack times our staff prioritizes introducing and keeping their tiny hands and mouths clean. Children will begin to recognize washing hands before eating and after as we begin to instill these principles.

Our outdoor play areas are built to allow your child to explore. Our playground and play areas are equipped with various age-appropriate items. Our maintenance staff ensures our campus is debris free and routinely keeps up with its maintenance weekly.

Emergency Response Plan

In the event of an unexpected emergency our staff will follow our school's emergency response plan and will be prepare for anything that may arise.

Flexible Feeding Schedules

Flexible Feeding Schedules

At St. Anthony's, we understand that each individual infant is different and will each require a different set of needs. Whether your infant is breastfeeding, bottle-fed formula or bottle-fed breast milk, we will ensure to keep your infant healthy and stick to their individualized feeding schedule.
Our staff is trained to properly label each infant's items and label either breast milk or formula. Each of our classrooms is equipped with a fridge, microwave and bottle warmer to assist in their feeding schedule.

Parents are always welcome to stop in and feed their infant if needed.
