Does your child love to build and create, have a great imagination, and LOVE Legos?
Play is one of the primary ways children learn about the world. They are natural engineers, constantly asking questions, and imagining new things. That is why Legos are ideal. Plus, they are tons of fun and they allow children to be even more creative.
The Lego club will provide an opportunity for students to grow creatively while strengthening fine motor skills and hand eye coordination all through fun Lego building projects.
Lego Club will meet Tuesdays from 3:45-4:30.
Students in Kinder through 2nd are invited to join. If you are interested, please fill out and submit the form in the newsletter and send in the $10 club fee by Wednesday September 28, 2022.
All 3rd-5th grade students who are interested are invited to participate in after school athletics.
We will begin with Volleyball.
We want to provide a fair advantage, and also an opportunity to focus on development, not just competition.
We will do this by providing practices to students 3rd-5th graders and begin introducing them to skills development as we grow our Athletics Program at St. Anthony Catholic School as well as coordinate with other schools to hold future games. As the calendar develops we will communicate with you to keep you updated. Our goal is to have a program that exposes students to sports appreciation, skills, good sportsmanship and character development.
We are currently reaching out to schools nearby, who have the same grade levels and would be willing to participate in playing against our students. Finding schools nearby would make it feasible for our students to have greater participation and avoid transportation challenges that may arise when traveling longer distances.
PRACTICE:
Volleyball orientation will be Wednesday, September 28, 2022 from 4-pm-5pm. We will follow a Monday & Wednesday 4-5pm practice schedule, unless otherwise updated.
