What is the Texas Education Freedom Accounts Program?

Education is a sacred trust. The Catholic Church teaches that parents are the first and primary educators of their children, entrusted by God with the formation of their minds, hearts, and souls. Texas Education Freedom Accounts supports this responsibility by allowing families greater freedom to choose educational settings that are faithful to their values and responsive to the unique dignity of each child. By strengthening parental responsibility and honoring the principle of subsidiarity, these accounts help ensure that education remains rooted in truth, faith, and the integral formation of the human person: mind, body, and spirit.
